poetry and song. The harpers lead us to their secret forest retreat
to meet the Green Man ... the one who lingers between the world

humans and the world of trees and knows the heart of every living
thing. Enter a realm of adventure--enticing, enigmatic, and full
of surprises.
Deb & Jane performed from 1991-2000 as Knodel & Valencia, and from 2001-2005 as the duo, Spookytree. We continue to perform together occasionally.

What is a Spookytree?
Years ago on the Oregon coast Deb & Jane came across the bleached bones of a fallen tree. It seemed that the branches and roots curved into shapes of harps. Captivated by this "spooky tree", and the magic and possibilities it seemed to hold they took it as their name ...For more info:
