Music and Magic from the Heart of Our Nature
Our next Explore Celtic Spirituality celebrates the lore, generosity, wisdom, and wonder of Trees! We’ll begin in the labyrinth, where we’ll connect with our tall, green neighbors, and move along from there. Come nourish and ignite your spirit and imaginations, and enjoy poetry, music, community, tales, craft, and more. For all ages – children welcome! Sunday, April 8, 4-5pm, Church of the Holy Spirit, 15420 Vashon Hwy SW, Vashon, WA.

Here are the details of our first offering:
Explore Celtic Spirituality (meets 2nd Sundays)
Date/Time: February 11, 2018 — 4pm to 5pm
Place: Church of the Holy Spirit
15420 Vashon Hwy. (Just south of the Vashon Community Care Center on the east side of the highway. Look for the bell tower)
We will celebrate the “fire in the heart” of St. Bridget of Kildare with a gathering in the labyrinth, music and poetry, the weaving of Bridget’s crosses in the ancient Irish tradition from fresh Vashon rushes and share vegan milk and bread while we listen to tales of Bridget’s love for her fellow travelers and enjoy a generous sense of community in her presence. People of all ages and spiritual backgrounds welcome!
It is full-on spring, and we’re soaring into the vibrant landscape of Celtic music. Today’s show features tunes and songs from a variety of styles: traditional, chamber Celtic, English folk rock, contemporary and fusion, and then flies out into a bit of jazz and beyond. Enjoy!
